Many of you have expressed curiosity about plant-based proteins or an interest in eating meat fewer times per week, so we are happy to enable that for you. We are excited to add the plant-based Beyond Burger™ patty from Beyond Meat® to recipes on our Signature menu. New Ingredients: Quality and discovery will always be central to the Blue Apron experience, starting with the ingredients we source. That is why I’m thrilled to share some of the ways we are responding to your suggestions: We hear you, and we will continue to listen. ![]() We read every recipe review you send and listen carefully when you tell us how we can serve you better. But it is you, our customers, who guide everything we do. Creating a quality product takes a significant amount of effort-from our chefs, our farming and sourcing partners, the exceptional employees across our company, and many others. ![]() Now as the leader of the company I continue to be impressed by, and proud of, the meal experiences we create and send to all of you each week. The experience of cooking Blue Apron has taught me new skills (reserve the fond!), introduced me to new ingredients (Calabrian chile paste!), and brought me closer to loved ones as I have cooked for, and with, them. Since my first delivery, I have been impressed by the quality of the food and the delicious, inventive flavors. Though I have had the privilege of serving as CEO for only a few months, I have been a Blue Apron customer for more than three years. I wanted to introduce myself as the new CEO of Blue Apron and share some of the exciting work we have underway to better serve all of you, our valued community of home cooks. ![]()
